MES Software for Manufacturers
Custom MES software built around your factory — digital route cards, operator terminals, live WIP board.
What is MES software?
A Manufacturing Execution System (MES) captures what is happening on the shop floor in real time — operations started and completed, quantities, operators, machines, materials and quality checks — and links it to each production order.
Ready-made packages make you change your process to fit their screens. We build MES software around the way your factory already runs — your forms, your approvals, your reports — as a secure web app for the office with tablet and mobile screens for the shop floor.

Problems MES software solves
No real-time visibility
You find out about a problem at the end of the shift, not when it happens.
Paper travellers
Route cards get lost, are filled in late, or can't be read.
Genealogy gaps
You can't prove which material, machine and operator made a given lot.
MES software features
Pick the features you need — everything is configured to your process.
Digital route cards
Each operation with instructions, drawings and parameters shown at the workstation.
Operator terminals
Tablet or kiosk screens with barcode scanning to start, pause and complete operations.
Live WIP board
Every order's current operation, quantity and waiting time on a TV dashboard.
In-process quality
Inspection checks enforced at defined operations before the job can move on.
Material consumption
Scan lots consumed at each step for full genealogy.
Machine signals
Optionally pull counts and run status from machines or sensors (hardware is extra).
Web app for the office
For owners, planners and managers — from any browser.
- Live dashboards and live wip & bottlenecks
- Masters, approvals and user roles

MES software — FAQs
What is the difference between MES and ERP?
ERP plans the business — orders, purchase, stock and accounts. MES executes and records production on the shop floor minute by minute. We can build either, or an MES that sends completed quantities back to your ERP where it provides an interface.
How much does custom MES software cost?
It depends on the features, users, apps and integrations you need. After a free consultation and a look at your current process we give you a fixed, itemised quote — and you own the software, with no per-user licence fees for what we build.
How long does it take to implement?
A focused first version is usually live in weeks, not months. We release in phases — the most valuable features first — with a demo every two weeks so your team shapes the software as it's built.
Can it connect with our ERP, accounting or other software?
Where your existing system offers an API, import facility or data export, yes. We check feasibility during scoping and confirm it before you commit.
Can we start with just this module?
Yes. Most factories start with one module and add others later on the same database — for example Shop-Floor Management, Traceability.
Integrations depend on the third-party provider offering an API, SDK or data export, and are confirmed during scoping. Any third-party licences, API or usage fees, subscriptions (e.g. WhatsApp Business API, SMS, maps, cloud hosting) and hardware are billed by the provider and borne by the client.
